SAS Resources Fund Melbourne Gala Dinner - Friday, 30th October 2026
The Special Air Service Resources Fund Gala Dinner is returning to Melbourne in 2026 and will be held on Friday 30th October 2026 at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground.
2026 marks 30 years of the Fund walking alongside our SAS family through every challenge, milestone and moment that matters.
Join us for a spectacular evening of fine dining and entertainment, all in support of current and former members of the SAS Regiment, and their families.
Tickets: $270 per person or $220 per person (current and former SAS members)
Ticket price includes a 3-course set menu, fine wines & beverages, and entertainment
Featured guest speaker: Bob Hunter
Bob Hunter spent 16 years in the Australian Army, undertaking SAS selection in 1988. When tragedy struck in 1996, Bob was the SAS Squadron Commander and carried the responsibility as OC for the Blackhawk training exercise when the accident occurred. He was also responsible for the immediate recovery of the squadron post this tragic accident. His story is one of courage, resilience, and real-world leadership, and one you won't want to miss hearing firsthand.

All proceeds go directly to the SAS Resources Fund, supporting current and former members of the Australian Defence Force, and their families, who face hardship as a result of their service with the Special Air Service Regiment. The Fund's vision is simple: to provide peace of mind to our SAS and their families.
